Just what I’ve been waiting for
When doing backup to tape is the ZIP file created on disk first. ie do you need free diskspace equal to the backup size

Hi Mike – no, it’s done directly to tape, so you don’t need any temp space on your disk.
Well, strictly speaking, we may use a hundred meg of temp space to improve the compression speed, but that’s about it.
