Client-side software – BackupAssist
This page contains the rsync Windows download files needed to set up an rsync destination for BackupAssist. BackupAssist comes deployed with the necessary Rsync libraries, so no additional software is required.
BackupAssist File Protection can use an rsync host as a backup destination. This allows you back up data across the internet to any host server. The rsync host can be supplied by a 3rd party or you can set up your own rsync host server.
Server-side software (where you host your data)
You can host your data on any Windows or Linux machine. Additional software is required for Windows machines.
