We’ve just released the final v5 version 5.4.8 of BackupAssist.
This is an important maintenance release with a number of fixes and improvements. This release is recommended for all BackupAssist v5 users but is especially important for anyone running Windows Imaging backups. More information regarding the release can be found here.
There are also some other minor fixes and improvements included in v5.4.8 which you can read about on our version history page: http://www.backupassist.com/BackupAssist/history.html.
To upgrade, just download v5.4.8 from here.
You just need to install over the top of your current version and all your backup jobs and settings will be preserved. A re-boot may be required to complete the installation.
